Plan Options

Choosing the right plan, WorldStudy offers two options of cover:

Maximum Policy Limit Options:       

  1. £750,000/€1,000,000/$1,250,000
  2. £1,500,000/€2,000,000/$2,500,000

Per Insured Person, Per Period of Insurance

Both have nil excess and offer three regions of coverage:

  1. Europe
  2. Worldwide Excluding U.S. and U.S. territories
  3. Worldwide

Optional Add-ons

  1. Terrorism Coverage - Full cover
  2. Incidental Return Trip - You are covered for trips to your Country of Habitual Residence up to a cumulative period of 30 days during the period of insurance
  3. Organised Sports - Up to £3,000/€4,000/$5,000 per illness or injury

Age limits, Duration and Renewals

  • WorldStudy insurance is available to - Under 60 years for Participant and Spouse and 15 days to 18 years for Dependent Child
  • Coverage Duration Options - 30 days up to 12 months, renewable up to a maximum of 5 years
  • Extensions / Renewal Options - Incrementally extendable from 5 days until reaching a maximum of 60 months
  • Coverage Extension Period - Up to 90 days after policy expiry date for continued treatment of an eligible illness or injury

Restricted countries

IMG operates with a list of sanctioned countries that we are unable to provide cover for.

Potential customers are also advised to check the requirements of the countries they are planning to visit to ensure that their chosen cover is aligned to locally mandated health insurance.

  • Claim Reimbursement – Freedom to choose your hospital network or doctors
  • Partner Network - IMG maintains a medical network worldwide and in the USA (First Health and United Health Care).
